Chelsea host Videoton at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night in what should be a comfortable game for the Blues.

Even if Maurizio Sarri fields himself upfront, he might bag a couple of goals. All due respect to our opponents, that’s the reality of competing in the Europa League. The quality of teams we are coming up against is not what we’re used to.

That worked against us when we faced PAOK. Chelsea took them for granted and only managed to edge a 1-0 victory in Greece. We can’t be so complacent this time around. We’re sure that Sarri will still field a strong starting eleven.

He may well have all available options to selection from, too. According to Physio Room, Andreas Christensen is fit to feature, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Pedro face late fitness tests before their availability is determined.

This game would provide an excellent opportunity for Loftus-Cheek to make a much-needed impression on his manager. We dearly hope he’s fit to play.
