With the Premier League returning to our screens after an interesting international break, Chelsea will lock horns against Cardiff City in the Premier League on Saturday.

The home side are riding high with four wins out of four and stand undefeated along with the likes of Liverpool and Watford at the top of the Premier League table, aiming to make it five wins out of a possible five.

Maurizio Sarri has been implementing his Italian finesse with impressive results so far with his new signing Jorginho being a big part of his current plans.

Here is Chelsea’s potential starting eleven to start at Stamford Bridge.

3. Goalkeepers & Defenders

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK): The world’s most expensive goalkeeper will be in line for another start after an impressive beginning to his Chelsea career with two clean sheets.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB): Chelsea’s first choice right back for seven seasons and that isn’t expected to change anytime soon.

Antonio Rudiger (CB): An interesting international break for the German international, he is expected to feature once more in the heart of the Chelsea defence as the 25-year-old looks to settle into the new season.

David Luiz (CB): Should pair up alongside Rudiger once more, a strong and stable centre back pairing could be on the cards for the future here.

Marcos Alonso (LB): The Premier League’s best left back. His set pieces and attacking prowess will be crucial for the Blues.

2. Midfielders

N’Golo Kante (CM): His hard working tenacious play and determination to win back possession will put the home side in a good position in the game, time after time.

Jorginho (CM): His control and his patience to get attacks started for Chelsea will certainly give them options, with a nice blend of different styles in the midfield.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (CM): Predicted to come in as he looks to gain more experience within the first team for Chelsea. The Englishman had a positive impact at the World Cup and is expected to be given the chance by Maurizio Sarri.

1. Forwards

Pedro (RW): The Spaniard could be back in the side after coming off the bench against Bournemouth, his qualities could come in handy to unlock Cardiff’s backline.

Olivier Giroud (ST): With Cardiff predicted to play with a deep line, Giroud’s attributes could hamper the Welsh side’s defence with his aerial ability and close control.

Eden Hazard (LW): The key man in this game. The star player so far and after scoring a hat-trick the last time these two sides faced at Stamford Bridge, he is expected to be in the goal tally once again.
