Tomas Kalas is not on the verge of joining Fulham as part of a double-deal which would also include Lucas Piazon, TalkChelsea understand.
It had been reported that the pair were close to sealing permanent moves to Craven Cottage for a combined £8M. However, it is our understanding that this is not the case and as of now there is no agreement in place.
Both players spent the 2017/18 campaign on-loan with Fulham, racking-up a combined 55 EFL Championship appearances. With Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League, it would be logical for both players to remain with the club in a familiar environment.
Whether Kalas (25), Piazon (24), or even both, do seal permanent moves away from Stamford Bridge this summer remains to be seen. For now, though, Fulham manager Slaviša Jokanović will not be rewarded with the acquisition of the pair.
