We have been given the clearest indication yet that Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski will be on the move during the summer transfer window.
Lewandowski needs little introduction, he’s considered one of, if not the, best strikers in the world. The Polish international scored 94 goals in his final three seasons as a Borussia Dortmund player, before making a controversial switch to Bayern Munich.
Having found the back of the net 145 times in a Bayern shirt, and filling his trophy cabinet to the brim with seven pieces of silverware, it appears as though Lewandowski is on the lookout for a new challenge.
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich goal-machine Robert Lewandowski.
According to L’Equipe, Lewandowski has instructed newly-appointed agent, Pini Zahavi, to begin negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Chelsea over a potential summer move.
It is unclear whether Lewandowski would be keen on joining us ahead of the other aforementioned clubs seeing as we cannot offer him Champions League football.
However, the mere fact that our name is still being mentioned in the race to sign a player of his quality is a positive sign ahead of what could prove to be a defining summer.
