Bony captained the Swans during last weekend’s goalless draw with Bournemouth at the Liberty, with the striker denied a first goal since returning to the club after Jordan Ayew was adjudged to have fouled Nathan Ake in the build up.
He now looks to open his account against Antonio Conte‘s Blues – a side who Bony has an old score to settle with.
“I’ve not scored against Chelsea yet – they are the only top team I’ve not scored against, so I’m hoping to end that run on Wednesday night,” said Bony to the Swans website.
“Last weekend I was so close to getting my first goal since I came back here, and now I’m even more determined because I want to score.
“And if I do – and we win – then you can expect to see a dance celebration, that’s for sure.”
