The 21-year-old midfielder on loan from Chelsea has shone this season, though a nagging back injury has flared up again.
“I have always had niggly back problems but I am working hard to keep that at bay,” said Loftus-Cheek.
“Hopefully I will get a run of games and it goes away.”
The midfielder is learning about life as a first teamer.
Loftus-Cheek said: “I realise now that every point matters when you are down near the bottom.
“Even the point on Saturday could be a massive point in the future. Every point counts, so we give everything in every game.”
