West Brom boss Tony Pulis admits their confidence is “low” after their thrashing at home by Chelsea.
“When you play against the top teams, especially in this league, you’ve got to defend better than we did today,” said the Baggies boss.
“I thought they kept going and working hard, nobody can say they didn’t.
“At times we played some good stuff without the quality in the final third.
“You can’t give goals away – every goal they’ve scored today is one I would say is a basic mistake.
“Confidence is low and one or two players haven’t played – in the respect of concentration – as well as they can.
“The defending was poor for their goals and the lads switched off at decisive moments for us and it cost us dearly.”
