Chelsea number 9 Alvaro Morata has lauded AS Roma revealing that he is impressed with the Italian outfit and has tipped them to progress to the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League ahead of Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea rescued a 3-3 draw with Roma two weeks earlier, leaving them second in Group C. Atletico Madrid are sitting in third, three points below the Italian outfit. The Spaniards have struggled off late, managing to win only one of their last seven games and are in dire need of something positive.
Alvaro Morata is the first Chelsea player to be directly involved in 10+ goals across all competitions this season:

Talking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Morata revealed how impressed he was facing the Italians at the Stamford Bridge.
“Roma impressed me in London,” the former Real Madrid striker said, as quoted by Football-Italia. “They deserved to win. This time, however, we start from scratch and after these three wins in a row, I think Chelsea will be more fired up.”
The Spaniard was full of praise for Dzeko who scored a stunner in London.
He added: “Dzeko? He was extraordinary. His first goal was a masterpiece. I always liked Dzeko. He’s a champion.”
Morata took some time out to talk about the experience he’s had facing Totti, during the forward’s stint with Juventus. Finally, he put Roma ahead of Atletico Madrid to progress in the supposed group of death.
“Totti? It was an honour to play against him. He’s a legend. Who do I choose between Roma and Atletico? Roma. They posed us several problems in London. We played the perfect game in Madrid, but Roma have something extra over Atletico,” Morata concluded.
