Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has enjoyed a pop at English coaching.

Speaking on Radio Anch’io Sport, Conte was asked about the success of Italian managers in Europe.

“Are we better than the English? There are practically no English managers in the Premier League.

“There are so many parts of the world here, but everyone here is good, prepared and among the best in the world.”

Conte, 48, led Juventus to three successive Serie A titles during his time in Turin and took Italy to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016, where they were beaten by Germany on penalties.

He also masterminded a 2-1 win over Roy Hodgson‘s England at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
