Harry Kane went into Saturday’s derby against West Ham having not scored against Tottenham’s rivals away from home.

That soon changed.

The England bagged a double as Tottenham ran-out 3-2 winners at the London Stadium, recording their third away victory in the Premier League this season.

It took Kane’s goal record in top flight London derbies to a staggering 21 goals in 29 games. That’s a whopping goal every 113 minutes.

Player Clubs Minutes per goal
Harry Kane Tottenham 113
Thierry Henry Arsenal 114
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Chelsea 136

That goals-per-minute ratio puts him top of the pile for London strikers in the Premier League era, and above some great names too.

Arsenal great Thierry Henry is second with a goal every 114 minutes. Former Chelsea strike Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is third with a goal every 136 minutes, while former Spurs greats Jurgen Klinsmann (137 minutes) and Dimitar Berbatov (154 minutes) sit either side of former Gunner Robin van Persie (145 minutes).

Speaking after the match, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino hailed his star striker as one of the best in the world.

“For me Harry is one of the best strikers in the world,” Pochettino said.

“It is too hard to find the words to describe him because in the last three seasons I am telling you how he is.

“I am in love, like the fans are in love, like the teammates are in love – not only because he scores goals, because of how he is.
