Chelsea and Liverpool are preparing for their compensation tribunal over Dominic Solanke‘s move to Anfield.

The Daily Mail says the manoeuvrings around Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain‘s £35million move from Arsenal to Liverpool this week, after Chelsea had agreed a fee for the England player, is only going to increase the tension.

Chelsea have had Solanke on their books since he was seven and were never going to accept Liverpool‘s offer of £3m for the best performer at the U20 World Cup in South Korea. Since joining Liverpool, he has come off the bench in the Champions League and Premier League this season.
