Southampton will only consider selling Virgil van Dijk today for crazy money.

The Daily Mail says Southampton are “99.9 percent” certain of keeping hold of Van Dijk with a “ridiculous” offer needed for them to even consider letting him go.

The Dutch defender has made no secret of his desire to leave St Mary’s this summer, informing the club of his desire to move on in July, but his club have maintained he is not for sale despite interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Liverpool‘s interest has been the most serious, with the Anfield club finding themselves in hot water earlier in the summer after being accused of tapping up the 26-year-old.
