Conte became Mourinho’s permanent successor over the summer after the Portuguese was sacked in December 2015 – just months after winning the title.
The current Chelsea boss has guided his team to four straight wins while Mourinho, now at Manchester United, is without a win in the same number of games in the Premier League.
And Begovic, who was part of the Mourinho meltdown last season, has given his thoughts on why Conte is doing so well at Stamford Bridge.
“The expectations he has on a daily basis are very high”
Chelsea keeper Asmir Begovic
Begovic told The Mirror: “One thing is his intensity.
“He pays attention to detail every day and the expectations he has on a daily basis are very high.
“If we reach that high level every day in training then it translates into games.
“So I think that those expectations are something very new. The way we work on a daily basis is good for us.
“It is not necessarily longer on the training ground.
“We manage the hours very well and do whatever work is necessary – sometimes longer if needed, sometimes shorter.”
