Abraham, 19, has netted 11 goals in 17 games while on a season-long loan at Bristol City.
His showings have earned him a call-up for England Under-21s and he netted two on his debut.
The striker is one of 38 Chelsea academy players out on loan but he’s been far and away the leading light.
Conte said: “Abraham is another young player who is the future for Chelsea, for sure. He’s very young.
“I saw him for only one week during the pre-season in America.
“Then we decided to send him to play every game with Bristol City, and get experience, then come back for us.
“He has great potential, technically and physically.”
“The Chelsea academy is working very well right now”
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte
As for next season, Conte said: “Our academy is working very well right now.
“In our squad this season we have Nathaniel Chalobah, Ola Aina, Dominic Solanke and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. You can see the future and it’s good.
“It’s important to look at the present and work. If they deserve to play, they play.”
