Dominic Solanke is ready to sign a new deal with Chelsea.

Solanke is close to putting pen to paper on a new contract with Chelsea, according to Squawka.

The 19-year-old forward reportedly lowered his wage demands, after initially requesting £50,000 a week when discussions first started last season.

Solanke has made just one substitute appearance for the Blues, progressing to the club’s senior set-up in 2014 from their youth squad.

He was named on the bench against Leicester City last weekend, fuelling speculation a new deal is close to being agreed.
