A goal after 30 seconds from Pedro set the tone as Chelsea rampaged to a 4-0 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The crowd had barely found their seats when the Spaniard beat compatriot David de Gea to a long ball downfield before rounding the keeper and slotting home from inside the box.

Bad defending cost United again on 22 minutes when Antonio Valencia flicked on a Chelsea corner before the ball cannoned off Ander Herrera and into the path of Gary Cahill, who volleyed home from close range.

Jose Mourinho’s side allowed the Blues out of sight on 62 minutes when they failed to close Eden Hazard down on the edge of the area. The Belgian played the ball inside before receiving it back in the area from a slick Nemanja Matic pass, he turned Chris Smalling and smashed the ball expertly into the bottom right-hand corner.

With 20 minutes to go, N’Golo Kante put the icing on the cake for Antonio Conte’s men, he took control of the ball 30-yards out, cruised past Chris Smalling and hammered it into the bottom corner.
