Liverpool and Manchester City have teamed up to fund a private jet to bring their players back from South America before Saturday’s Premier League showdown, reports Sky Sports.
A large contingent of internationals from both sides will be returning to England later this week, although it is their Brazilian players who were facing the shortest turnaround.
However City and Liverpool, helped out by Chelsea, have clubbed together for a private jet to bring their stars back from the Colombian city of Barranquilla.
City have Gabriel Jesus, Ederson and Fernandinho in the Brazil squad, while Liverpool‘s Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino could also feature along with Chelsea forward Willian.
All six will leave as soon as possible after the game and are scheduled to arrive back in England on Wednesday morning.
Sky Sports News also understands City’s Argentina contingent Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi will be on a similar flight back from Buenos Aires after their clash with Venezuela.
