Eden Hazard has taken a thinly-veiled pop at Tottenham by failing to list them among Chelsea‘s Premier League title rivals.

Spurs kept the heat on Leicester in the race for the League crown two seasons ago, but ultimately came up short before finishing runners-up to Antonio Conte’s champions last term.

Mauricio Pochettino has strengthened over the summer, signing Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth, Serge Aurier, Fernando Llorente and Paulo Gazzaniga ahead of another push for the Premier League crown.

Spurs will spend the season at Wembley while their new home is completed on the site of their former White Hart Lane home, and Pochettino’s men have not enjoyed the best start at the national stadium.

A defeat and a draw from matches against Chelsea and Burnley have left Tottenham five points off the title pace after just three games, and Hazard is seemingly already writing off the north London club.

To make matters worse, the Chelsea forward has tipped bitter rivals Arsenal to haul themselves back into the race after a difficult start.

The Gunners lost away at Stoke before being thrashed by Liverpool at Anfield, but Hazard has not ruled out a title charge from Arsene Wenger’s men.

Asked about Chelsea’s rivals as they attempt to defend their league crown, the Belgium international told Nike: “It’s not just one team.

“I think all of the teams have got really good players: Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Man City and good managers as well. So we will see…”
