Chelsea winger Willian has revealed his targets for the coming Premier League season, aiming to top his goalscoring tally from the Blues’ title-winning season.
Speaking to the club’s official website after bagging an early brace against Fulham in a friendly match behind closed doors at Cobham, Willian completed his hat-trick with a 20-yard thunderbolt just before the break.

He said: “I felt good. It was a friendly training game, but we did our job well. It was a good start. I felt a little bit tired but it’s normal after the first week of pre-season, you always feel better after more time, and now I am ready to do more work.”
Having scored a dozen goals in all competitions last season, Willian said after Monday’s game: “I say thank you to Michy who passed to me very well for the first two goals against Fulham. I felt in good touch and I hope more goals come for me this season. I will try to beat the number I scored last season.”
The Blues now travel to China to face Arsenal on Saturday in a preview of next month’s Community Shield curtain-raiser at Wembley, before heading to Singapore to face Inter and Bayern Munich.
“It will be good, it’s the next step for us. We have some important training to do and games out there before the beginning of the season. We have to continue preparing well and we go there to try and win our games, starting with the Arsenal one in Beijing.”
