Romelu Lukaku’s every move will be under the microscope following his £75m switch to Manchester United.
That’s just the way things go these days when players make big money moves – just ask transfer world record holder Paul Pogba.
Former Everton striker Lukaku pitched up at United training hoping to impress his new teammates and show them what they’ll be working with on the pitch in the upcoming season.
Perhaps the Belgian striker’s biggest critique in his career so far has been his first touch, with many Chelsea fans in particular targeting him with that following his snub to their club.
By the looks of this clip that’s going round on Twitter, Lukaku will seriously need to tighten up his ball control as he takes the heaviest touch imaginable to try and stop a trickled pass into feet – the touch was so poor, he might well turn around and claim it was actually a pass.
Rival fans, and the Blues faithful in particular, had a field day watching the video as Lukaku fed right into their hands, with many going in on the 24-year-old for costing so much money…
The first touch isn’t even that deep臘♂️ he just slightly didn’t put in enough power in his pass.
