Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is due to have talks with both Stoke and West Brom today, which could result in a loan deal for the centre-back being brokered ahead of next season.
According to Sky Sports, Blues boss Antonio Conte believes the young Frenchman will benefit from going out on loan during the next campaign, as he looks to build on the 13 starts he has already made for the Chelsea first team before suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in February 2016.
Zouma previously played for French team Saint Etienne before signing for Chelsea, but remained on-loan at his parent club for another season following his transfer to the Blues in January 2014.
The next season, he was forcing his way into the first team at the club, and won both the Premier League and League Cup during the 2014/15 season.

Zouma was absent from first-team action for 11 months due his aforementioned injury, returning towards the latter end of Conte’s title-winning debut season as Chelsea manager this year.
By playing regular football on-loan in the Premier League, the 22-year-old may be able to play his way back into the Italian’s plans, and once again become a regular fixture in Chelsea’s back line.
