Borussia Dortmund have reportedly not received any official offers for their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer – despite the 28-year-old ending last season as the top scorer in Germany.
You would have thought the Bundesliga’s golden boot winner would be inundated by offers from across European football after scoring over 70 goals in his last two seasons with Dortmund, however according to Sky Sports reporter, Kaveh Solhekol that has not been the case.

Solhekol posted on his Twitter account on Wednesday that an official offer has yet to be received for Aubameyang this summer – who is now entering the final year of his contract.
The German club’s demand of a transfer fee reportedly in the region of £60-70m could be putting suitors off the 28-year-old, despite leading the line at the Westfalenstadion in an impressive fashion for the past few seasons.
The Gabon international had previously been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, which reportedly fell through and has more recently been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League, AC Milan and Chelsea – in which the latter has recently been reported as a keen suitor.
There is no doubting that the striker would add serious firepower to any lineup across world football, especially when considering his the ability to stand up in the big games.
However, with pace being such a key part of his game he will need to make adjustments in the near future which could be scaring clubs as there are younger alternatives currently on the market for a similar or lesser fee.
With Aubameyang seemingly itching for a move, Dortmund don’t appear to be a club desperate to offload the striker this summer unless it it comes at the right price, and really who can blame them.
