Chelsea have received a boost in their hopes of signing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro as the Old Lady are reportedly close to finalising a deal for Nice left-back Dalbert, opening the door for the Blues to prise the Brazilian away from Italy.
As reported by Football Italia, talks are at an advanced stage between Juve and Dalbert’s club, Nice, and his representatives after Inter failed to meet the €15m asking price set by the Ligue 1 side, allowing Juve to swoop in.
Marcos Alonso would be backup to Alex Sandro.
How are some Chelsea fans saying otherwise? HAHAHAHAHAHA.

The deal could see one Brazilian left-back replaced by another in Turin if Sandro is to make the move to the Premier League champions this summer.
With Chelsea on high alert following Juve’s acquisition of Dalbert, the Old Lady’s Chief executive Giuseppe Marotta confirmed an offer was tabled to the Ligue 1 champions, reportedly from Chelsea in the region of €60-70m.
He said: “A substantial offer has arrived for Alex Sandro.
Why do we need Alex Sandro?
Conte wants Alex Sandro. That’s literally all you need to know.

“We have no intention of selling anyone, but if a player decides to leave, as has happened in previous years, then at the end of the day he has to go, because we don’t keep anyone against their will.
He added: “But at the moment there are no such situations and I hope nobody will leave.”
With serious interest from Chelsea who are looking to upgrade on the already impressive Marcos Alonso, Juventus are seemingly already preparing to part ways with Sandro – who has won back-to-back league and cup doubles with the club.
However, with Dani Alves already confirmed to be leaving the club the Old Lady will likely require a significant offer to tempt them into talks with the Blues, who are looking to improve their squad as they aim to defend their Premier League title next season.
