• Eric Cantona Calls Out Diego Costa in Spicy New Video: He Has Chelsea 'By the B***s'

    News Sun 11 Jun 2017

Eric Cantona has summed up the Diego Costa situation at Chelsea in typically eccentric style, claiming that the striker has the club “by the balls”.

Costa has been informed that he is no longer part of manager Antonio Conte’s plans at Stamford Bridge, but could have scuppered Chelsea’s plans by setting his sights on a January return to Atletico Madrid.

And now Cantona, in a video for Eurosport, has given his assessment on the actions of the Spanish striker.

“Chelsea has won the Premier League,” he said. “And Diego Costa found a very creative way to celebrate.

“He started with a gentle cupping of John Terry’s testicles, and then a sweet grind behind his trainer’s derriere.

“This is a clear message for the team’s bosses regarding his possible departure: ‘I take you by the balls, and I am about to screw you as well’.”

It’s a typically forthright message from Cantona, but it may well be an accurate one too. Costa’s decision to make public the text message he received from Conte informing him that he would not be in the club’s plans next season could have cost the club millions.

And with the Spaniard seemingly only willing to join one club, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea may be forced to wait until their transfer ban is completed. A return to his former club is also likely to bring a significantly lower fee than a move to China.
