Real Madrid are expected to go all out in their pursuit of French star Kylian Mbappé after their other summer target, Eden Hazard, suffered a three-month long injury on international duty with Belgium.
Despite the fact Hazard has already undergone surgery, the Independent has reported that Madrid sources expect Los Blancos to ditch their interest in the Belgian winger. The Spanish and European champions are now expected to try and convince Mbappé to join Madrid this summer as Zinedine Zidane eyes one major attacking addition in this transfer window.
Feel sorry for anyone that believes a 19-year-old Mbappé would be a regular starter at Real Madrid. Move would kill his momentum.

Madrid will have to go toe-to-toe with Arsenal in their attempts to lure Mbappé away from the Stade Louis II. The north London side are believed to be willing to pay £120m for the 18-year-old, although Monaco seem unwilling to sell. Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim is set to leave the club despite an outstanding season, throwing further doubt in the future of the young striker.
Madrid are set to lose Álvaro Morata and James Rodríguez this summer, with both players being linked with moves to the Premier League. The Spanish champions will likely use the sale of the two international footballers to help finance their Kylian Mbappé deal, with Madrid also willing to part company with Gareth Bale.
The French star has shone for Monaco this season, scoring 26 goals and assisting another 14 in just 44 appearances. Many expect Mbappé to be the first player to move clubs for a fee of over £100m, with AS Monaco valuing their prized asset at over £130m.
Monaco do appear to be playing hardball with the future of Kylian Mbappé. Arsenal and Real Madrid are the two clubs that are said to be leading the race for him, with Paris Saint-Germain also declaring a recent interest.
