Twelve years after Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final ghost goal against Chelsea, some of the clubs’ former players are still going at each other over it.
Ex-Blues forward Eidur Gudjohnsen got one over Sky pundit Jamie Carragher and Luis Garcia – scorer of the infamous goal – listening in on and recording the erstwhile players’ conversation as they tried to relive the fortuitous events which led to Chelsea getting their hearts broken in 2005.
“12 years on and they still can’t believe they got away with that “goal”,” Gudjohnsen tweeted, also posting the video, which you can see below.
Carragher responded, as he usually does.
But Garcia was perhaps a bit embarrassed to get caught on camera.

Will this ever be allowed to rest?
Probably not. And as long as the banter is as good, we won’t mind.
