Bournemouth right-back Adam Smith is taking no notice of transfer rumours linking him with moves to Chelsea or Tottenham.
Smith has emerged as a target for both the Premier League champions and runners-up, with his performances over two Premier League seasons at Bournemouth catching the eye.
Chelsea are thought to be keen to bolster their squad options ahead of a return to the Champions League, while Tottenham could be looking to replace the potentially departing Kyle Walker.
When asked about the speculation, Smith, 26, offered a nonchalant response.
“That transfer talk is part of football, all the speculation builds towards the end of every season,” he told the Bournemouth Echo.
“It is always nice to be talked about in a positive way, because it means you are doing something right. I would rather that than be getting bad press.
“But I do not take too much notice of it. I am a Bournemouth player and I am planning to have a nice holiday now, then come back here next season.”
