Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Patrick Roberts have missed out on England’s 23-man squad for the Under-21 European Championships.
Chelsea midfielder Loftus-Cheek and Celtic winger Roberts, on loan from Manchester City, have joined Huddersfield midfielder Izzy Brown on the sidelines through injury.
Arsenal have two players in the squad, and Chelsea have three. Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United bow their heads in shame (with their players already in the senior squad).
More to follow.
