A kit mix-up saw Chelsea players fail to wear black armbands during the FA Cup final, according to the London Evening Standard.
Chelsea, alongside cup opponents Arsenal, were due to wear the armbands in remembrance of those who died in the Manchester terror attack earlier this week but the Blues took to the pitch without their armbands.
The Premier League champions were due to walk out at Wembley with special FA Cup jackets but the hot weather meant they decided not to wear the garments. The armbands were placed under the jackets in the changing rooms, meaning that by not putting their jackets on the Chelsea players forgot about the armbands.
The club remembered to wear the armbands at the beginning of the second-half.
Goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey helped Arsenal beat Chelsea, who replied through Diego Costa after Victor Moses was sent off.
