  • Napoli Star's Agent Drops Huge Hint Amid Interest From Arsenal and Chelsea

    News Tue 31 Jan 2017

Napoli right-back, Elseid Hysaj, has been the subject of much transfer speculation of late due to his impressive performances for the Serie A club.

The Albanian international has been linked with Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea.

Now, the agent of the 22-year-old, Mario Giuffredi, has dropped a massive hint that the talented defender could indeed seek a move away from the Italian giants in the summer, as per Daily Star.

“Chelsea and Arsenal? We are happy to hear his name being linked to these big clubs, let’s see what happens this summer,” Giuffredi told Radio CRC.

“At the moment, Hysaj is fully concentrated on Napoli and he wants to finish off this season on a high.

“For me the January transfer market does not exist, all the big moves happen during the summer transfer window.

“Once the season begins, coaches want to have concentrated players.

“The January transfer windows adds extra problems for coaches and this is why I don’t like it.”

The talented Albanian would be a smart acquisition for either of the London clubs if indeed he were eager to make the move to the Premier League.

Despite the presence of Hector Bellerin, Arsenal are in desperate need of cover in the right-back area with only Gabriel Paulista, a centre-half by trade, providing any competition for the young Spaniard.

Chelsea as well require cover for Victor Moses in the right-wing-back position and Hysaj, who is renowned for his threat going forward, would be ideal for Antonio Conte’s side with no real cover for the role present at the club.
