Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas didn’t quite get the response he was looking for when he posted a topless picture of himself on Instagram, following a gym session.
The Spaniard continues to be frustrated by a lack of playing time at Stamford Bridge as manager Antonio Conte regularly opts to pick defensive players, N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic, in the Blues’ midfield.
But whilst Fabregas struggles to break into the side, he is at least working hard on his fitness and keep in shape. Well, so he thinks anyway…
Having taken a mirror selfie to show of his hard work after a session in the gym, Fabregas’ former Barcelona teammates David Villa and Alex Song, couldn’t resist offering some alternative thoughts on his physique.
Villa cheekily commented on the photo: “Put a t-shirt on kid and breathe out, go on.”
Perhaps having caught wind of this put down, Song also pitched in and said: “I can’t see anything my bro you have to improve”
It should be noted that many of the comments were positive towards Fabregas but it seems he’s failed to convince his fellow peers of the hard work.
Clearly he will need to work even harder to gain their approval.
