Antonio Conte has hinted that Chelsea will look to explore the January transfer window in an attempt to improve the squad for the Premier League run-in.

The Blues have won their last 12 league matches in a row and are six points clear of their nearest title rivals Liverpool.

And, although Conte admits it is a tricky time to buy players, he will look to make the most of the winter shop window.

“In January it’s always very difficult to buy. Every team wants to keep their best players, they don’t want to sell,” Conte said.

“But we are trying to think of the best way to face the rest of the season, for sure.

“We are looking at our squad and then we will take the best decision. As I said before, it’s not easy in the window.”
