Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger described the Italian’s side as ‘super favourites’ to win Premier League title earlier today.
While Conte thinks it’s too early to agree with that, he’s happy with how his side are going.
Few tipped the Blues to bounce back after a woeful outing last season but they’re six points clear after a 12 game winning run.
Asked about Wenger’s comments, Conte said: “I think it’s very difficult to reply to the question.
“I think we played only 18 games and there are 20 games left to finish this season.
“At the start of the season no one coach or journalist thought this team would fight for the title this season because we came after a bad season.
“Our market was not good for someone but now I’m pleased the opinion is changing.
“I’m a bit worried because when the opinion changes quickly you must be in danger.
“We have only six points more than the second team.
“I think the way is long but I am pleased – for me and the players – if someone is changing his opinion.”
