AC Milan remain in the hunt for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Corriere dello Sport says Milan will make Fabregas a prime transfer target once their ongoing takeover is complete.

Current owner Silivio Berlusconi is set to sell his stake to a Chinese consortium by March 3 in a deal which apparently could see around £300m pumped into the club.

Fabregas, 29, failed to make much of an impression in the early stages of Antonio Conte’s tenure and it appeared that the Spaniard could soon be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

However he has found himself back in the first-team mix in recent weeks, starting three out of Chelsea‘s past five Premier League matches.
