Halfway into his third season at Chelsea, one would think that Diego Costa would be quite familiar with English. Yet that is far from the truth, as the striker doesn’t seem to speak a word of the language:
That was made very apparent on Tuesday when the Brazilian reported for training along with captain John Terry.
The pair were the only high-profile first team members who trained on Tuesday, as the rest of the squad were given the day off following their stupendous win over Bournemouth on Monday.
With selfies being the order of the day, the pair posed for locker room photos. They both posted pics to their Instagram pages, and Costa, as cheeky as can be, didn’t bother to make up his own caption. He simply copied Terry’s, switched their names around, and left it be.
Take a look at the photos below.
Work smarter, not harder!
Either way, it’s no surprise to see the pair smiling; despite Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Stoke on Tuesday night, Chelsea are still six points clear at the top of the table.
They chalked up their 12th consecutive win in the Premier League after beating the Cherries at home on Boxing Day.
