Chelsea attacker Pedro has taken aim at Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

Pedro joined Chelsea from Barcelona in a £21.4million deal in August 2015, turning down Manchester United to sign for Mourinho.

But just four months later Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea as their title defence crumbled disastrously.

And while Pedro struggled to put his finger on exactly why things fell apart under the Portuguese, he admits there were major problems.

“It was about everything, everything just wasn’t right,” the 29-year-old told the Telegraph.

“We were very low in the league, the spirits were very low, the trust was very low, everything was going wrong. It made it very difficult to be fit, to be in a good position. It was just the whole thing – it wasn’t right.”
