Conte travelled with technical director Michael Emenalo to France last month to run the rule over defensive midfielder Bakayoko and full-back Sidibe in Monaco’s 2-1 win over Tottenham.
“The two players are aware of Chelsea’s interest”
The two players are aware of Chelsea‘s interest but could opt to stay put until the summer with Monaco still in the Champions League.
Bakayoko, under contract until 2019, has made a big impression in his 25 appearances this season.
But Chelsea face competition from former manager Jose Mourinho for Bakayoko, 22.
A report in the Telegraph suggests Manchester United are interested in the France Under-21 international.
Sidibe, 24, only joined Monaco from Lille in July but has established himself in the French national team, winning six caps.
He would provide competition for Conte’s first-choice wing-backs Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso.
