Chelsea have no intention of sending Michy Batshuayi out in loan next month.

The Guardian reports that Blues boss Antonio Conte is not about to allow the Belgian striker leave temporarily in January despite a number of clubs expected to make loan bids.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille for £33.2million in the summer but is yet to start in the Premier League for the West Londoners, suggesting that perhaps he could be looking for regular game time elsewhere.

West Ham United are showing considerable interest in a loan offer for the for 23-year-old but that will be knocked back by Conte who believes the former Standard Liege forward will benefit greatly from training with Chelsea and acting as Diego Costa‘s only senior back-up in a title tilt.

With Costa suspended for the Boxing Day clash with AFC Bournemouth, Batshuayi will get his chance to impress Conte in a starting role for the Premier League leaders.
