Chelsea extended their lead to six points at the top of the Premier League table with a 1-0 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday.

Antonio Conte’s side took the lead five minutes before half-time with a fantastic goal. N’Golo Kante won the ball back in midfield, Cesc Fabregas played a one-two with Willian before the Spaniard places a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

Shortly after the break, Willian – who was in the side to replace the absent Eden Hazard – hit a shot that deflected up and over Jordan Pickford and onto the Sunderland crossbar.

Thibaut Courtois had to pull off a couple of stunning saves in the final minutes to secure the points for the Blues and make it ten straight Premier League wins.
