The Brazil international has been the subject of a £60m offer from Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG.
And he is expected to complete the megabucks move to the Far East when the transfer window reopens next month.
Oscar was left out of the Chelsea squad which took on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light tonight.
“Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has spoken out on Oscar’s Stamford Bridge future amid transfer interest from Shanghai SIPG.”
But, speaking after the game, Conte appeared to suggest he is keen on keeping the playmaker in west London.
Quoted on Chelsea’s official Twitter account, the former Juventus gaffer referred to Oscar as a “really good young player”.
And he hinted that work could be underway to attempt to convince him to remain in England.
Oscar has made more than 200 appearances since joining Chelsea from Internacional in 2012.
He’s featured 10 times under Conte, starting their first six games of the season.
