Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says Chelsea‘s league leadership is proof their own title push is still alive.

Tottenham are 10 points adrift of Chelsea at the top of the table after losing ground in their 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at the weekend.

But Pochettino says: “The Premier League is tough and Chelsea started very bad.

“They changed their system and look where they are now.

“There is enough time to recover the gap. Yes, we have fallen short, but now we have an opportunity to play two games at home in four days.

“This is only the second League games we have lost. We are still in a good position.

“It is a long way to the end of the season. It is disappointing but if we analyse the game it was very competitive and we can take positives from it.”
