The two sides are set to go head-to-head yet again in the elite competition after being drawn together in the last 16 yesterday.
And former Chelsea winger Robben couldn’t resist taking aim at the Gunners ahead of the clash.
The Dutchman told ESPN: “It’s Arsenal, again.
“Our target is always the final”
Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben
“We were hoping for a new opponent, someone we hadn’t played against before. But got we got Arsenal again.
“For them, the pressure is to make it to the quarter-final for the first time in many years.
“Our target is always the final.”
History is on Bayern’s side ahead of the first leg tie in German in February.
The Bundesliga side knocked out Arsenal in the last 16 in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.
But Arsenal have impressed domestically and in Europe this term and Robben knows Bayern will be tested by Arsene Wenger’s men.
He added: “We’ve played them a few times over the last few years and always won – we always got through to the next round – but maybe this one will be the toughest one so far.
“We have happy memories [from past meetings], but happy memories don’t take you to the next round.
“They are a very strong team – even stronger than last year. They’re doing very well in the Premier League.”
