Chelsea striker Diego Costa is enjoying a fine season in west-London. The Spaniard notched his 12th goal in 15 games against West Brom on Sunday, and what better way to celebrate than with a cold beer?
The 28-year-old saved Chelsea’s blushes against the Baggies, scoring the only goal of the game 13 minutes from the end.
His tally for the season in now up to 12 goals and five assists, making Costa the most lethal Premier League striker at present.
Costa is known for his unconventional football diet, which consists of heavy Brazilian food and the odd beer with mates.
He lived up to his reputation in the locker room after beating West Brom, posting an Instagram story of himself drinking a cold-beer while listening to some debatable Latin-pop.
Costa was awarded his fourth man-of-the-match award of the season on Sunday, prompting good enough reason, along with Chelsea going top, to crack open a cold beer and enjoy his weekend.
Next up for Antonio Conte’s side is a Wednesday night trip to the Stadium of Light, where his side will face struggling Sunderland, who find themselves at the bottom of the pile after losing to Swansea.
