United were previously the most reviled club in England’s top flight.

But now that dubious honour goes to the Blues.

A survey published by the Manchester Evening News puts Chelsea top, with United second.

Liverpool and Manchester City round up the top four.

Arsenal and Tottenham came fifth and sixth respectively in the league of hate.

Meanwhile, reigning champions Leicester finished 19th.

And Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth were the least reviled of all the Premier League champions.

The results took into account all the opinions of each club.

And it is thought nearly 10,000 fans had their say in the poll.
