Chelsea bounced back from a 2-0 loss against Rapid Vienna to beat RZ Pellets 3-0 in the second game of their pre-season.
Taking the field on Wednesday night, Antonio Conte’s squad put in an impressive performance to make up for their last result, with several exciting youth prospects coming to the fore. Bertrand Traore would open the scoring, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah each adding a goal to secure victory for the Blues.
Chalobah’s strike was the pick of the bunch. The utility man weaved through a smattering of defenders before slotting the ball past the keeper to score a remarkable goal. Ola Aina, a full-back, played a brilliant game as well.
After the match, Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeru posted a video on Instagram, showing Chalobah dancing in the dressing room, following his failure to do so after scoring.
Omeruo wrote: “@natedogg39 this is for refusing to do a dance after that incredible goal.. Bravo bro.. #CFC @olaaina2 great game”.
