And new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly keen to land Ayew this summer to strengthen his attacking options for the upcoming season.
Swansea are said to be resigned to the fact they’ll lose their star man and have reportedly targeted Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston as his replacement.
The 23-year-old impressed at La Liga outfit Eibar last season – scoring 18 goals in 36 games – and could be available for just £4.5m.
Ayew cast doubt over his future at the Liberty Stadim back in May after he refused to rule out the possibility of a summer move.
He said: “If I have to stay, fine. If I have to leave, I have to leave. We’ll see what’s going to happen, we’ll have a discussion and see the way forward.
“I’ve enjoyed the Premier League, I think it’s the best league in the world. The intensity, the determination from every team. It’s a league where you enjoy every game.
“Every game is difficult, you can never say you’ve won it before you’ve played it. I hope to stay in the Premier League if I leave, but I’m here at the moment at Swansea.”
