The new Chelsea boss is expected to oversee his first training session today.

Conte comes with a fearsome reputation, although he reaped the rewards of his strict managerial methods during his time at the helm at Juventus, where he masterminded three Serie A triumphs in a row.

And Leonardo Bonucci, who has been linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge, has given Conte’s charges a word of advice.

He said: “Conte will be a big success in England, Chelsea are already a very good team, and he will have them challenging both in England and in Europe.

“He likes leaders, he likes big personalities, but he will not stand for players who think they are bigger than him.

“He is the boss, and if you listen to him and show him respect, you will see he is one of the best bosses in the game.”
